My stories always change a lot over the course of the writing, and as I'm only on the 3rd draft, I can't say much about it yet! All I can say at this point is that it's a kind of science fiction/fantasy story; and the title TYGER takes its inspiration from the William Blake poem.

Thank you so much for your kind comment! At the moment, Phoenix has yet to find a US publisher. I hope that we will find one soon, but so far, we've been hearing discouraging things from them. I'm planning to write one more Varjak Paw book, one day. I wrote a little bit about my idea for it here. I ADORE you're books especially PHOENIX, TYGER sounds great and believe me, I'm gonna get it as soon as it comes out !!! I think PHOENIX is your best book because it makes you feel sad, happy, doubtful and loads more emotions and I believe a book should make you feel that way! That is so exciting to hear! Their books shaped his mind as did all the comics and music he loved as a child, from Star Wars to The Sandman. His flat walls are covered with books, records and videos – literally thousands of them.

I'm planning to show my agent a new version of TYGER in the spring. If he thinks it's ready to show publishers, we'll do that at that point; if not, then I'll do more work on it until it is. I'm hoping it will be, but I've come to accept that it takes as long as it takes to make a book as good as it can be. The inspiration for Phoenix came from many different places.
